Conservatives Want To Help People Too

It's a widespread misconception that conservatives are cold-hearted people. To hear liberals tell it, you'd think we have no problem letting the poor starve to death on the streets. But that's not true. Conservatives want to help people who have fallen on hard times just as much as liberals. The disagreement comes over *how* to help them.
